Stöðvarfjörður Eastern Iceland Mural
Mr Mead is the working name of Tom Mead - an artist, illustrator and muralist based on the Gower Peninsula in Wales, surrounded by beaches, forests and a suspicious number of strange ideas. Working primarily in pen and ink, his work has been shown at the Royal West of England Academy, the V&A, the Natural History Museum, and in galleries across the UK, Europe, America and Australia. Commissions include Aardman, Workman Publishing New York, the British Council and Crack Magazine. Murals have gone up in Bristol, London, Cape Town and Stöðvarfjörður in East Iceland — the last one reached via a van, a best friend and a fish factory. He also co-created Silt - an underwater horror game with nearly two million mobile downloads and still selling across PC and console. It ended up on the cover of Wireframe Magazine. That’s a different story, told at Jarkman Studio. Available for illustration commissions, murals and fine art. Get in touch.
